Marmoleum
Marmoleum is Forbo Flooring Systems’ extensive line of linoleum floor products. Linoleum is one of the most durable, sustainable flooring products available, and with over 300 colors, 12 different styles, and availability in sheets and tiles, Marmoleum can be applied to practically any room’s design.
Marmoleum flooring is made from 97% natural materials, 70% of which are rapidly renewable and consists of 43% recycled materials. The main materials used to create the body of Marmoleum floors are linseed oil and recycled wood flour with a backing made from fibers of the jute plant. When Marmoleum reaches the end of its 30+ year lifespan, it can be completely recycled into a brand new Marmoleum floor!
Marmoleum floors feature the Topshield2 linoleum finish, which has been designed to protect the floor immediately upon installation with no initial maintenance or polymer applications necessary. This enhanced finish allows your floor to be protected from scratches, scuffs, and stains even when life gets ahead of you and you can’t keep up with the regular cleaning that all floors need!
Marmoleum floors require a great deal of skill to craft. Only a select few people in the world know to use the exact measurements of ingredients, the correct temperatures and pressures, and much more that make Marmoleum floors one-of-a-kind.
